Dr. Pnina Dan - CEO
Dr. Dan holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Weizman Institute of Science. She served as a post doctoral fellow at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, USA. Before founding the company, Dr. Dan served as an R&D manager - responsible on development of a new rechargeable Li power source at Tadiran Batteries Ltd. For her achievements in this field she was awarded as the "Career Woman of the year" by Globes, the most popular economic newspaper in Israel. Dr. Dan also served as business development of the new developed products. She is an expert in initializing and developing multidisciplinary R&D projects, with most of the expertise in EU funded projects. Furthermore, she gained valuble experience in managing these projects during their implementation. Dr. Dan often serves as an evaluator of projects for the EC. In 2000, Dr. Dan founded OSM-DAN Ltd. Her experience in the EC RTD programmers from 1996' as a researcher, Coordinator and Evaluator, adding to her expertise in R&D parasitized in both industrial and research institutes, is a great asset to the company and its success.
Mr. Aharon Dan is a graduate in Economy from the Hebrew University. Before co-founding OSM-DAN Ltd. he served as a financial manager at Bank Hapoalim and as a treasurer at El-Op. Mr. Dan is the Financial and Contractual Manager of OSM-DAN Ltd. He is responsible for the financial part of the EC funded projects.
Dr. Tsipi Shoham - R&D Programmes Director
Dr. Shoham is a PhD with over 15 years of biological research experience in the fields of cellular immunology and cancer immunotherapy. She earned her PhD from The Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and spent over 4 years at Medicine/Oncology, Stanford University, CA, USA, first as a postdoctoral fellow then as a research associate. Prior to joining OSM-DAN, Dr. Shoham was the head of the Immunotherapy Research Laboratory, Ella Institute, Tel-Hashomer, Israel. Her proven skills in creating and communicating R&D vision, managing and leading scientific teams, along with her experience in academic writing, peer reviewed scientific papers and grants applications, add value to her position as an R&D Programmers Director at OSM-Dan Ltd.
Dr. Sigal Yosef - R&D Programmes Director
Dr. Yosef holds a PhD in Bio-Chemistry from Bar-Ilan University. Before joining OSM-DAN, Sigal held a post-doctoral position in both Tel-Aviv University as an Organic Chemistry researcher, and Bar-Ilan University as a Biology and Biochemistry researcher. During her academic studies, she has published scientific papers in both Biological and Chemical magazines. Her experience in multidisciplinary scientific academic work including academic writing, laboratory and management skills has an added value to her position as an R&D Programmers Director at OSM-DAN Ltd.
Hilla Behar - Marketing Director
Mrs. Behar has over 11 years of technological and marketing experience. Before joining OSM-Dan Hilla founded and managed a small business in New York City specializing in unique home designs. Before that, Hilla co-founded and served as the chief engineer in the Israeli branch of Peri GmbH – a leading provider and manufacturer of advanced formwork and scaffolding systems.
Gila Yagur - Administrative Manager
During her many years at the Weizmann Institute of Science, one of the leading research Institutes in Israel, Gila has accumulated experience in preparing English-language scientific material for publication. She also was responsible on the hosting programs, organization scientific seminars and meetings, local and international. During the last 15 years, she planned and oversaw events and meetings the Weizmann Board of Governors, International Leadership meetings, fund raising and donor related activities. Gila was in charge of the hosting programs for visiting donors, dignitaries including events on and off-campus. |
